Material locations are listed on this catty page and also in the XRF names ... if you don't know what an XRF is, or have never seen one you are missing out on a great way to solve so many problems and make Create Mode material location more flexible ... go to "Settings" in the client, click "Create" ... check the box there. You may need to log out and back in again, and then the next time you open Editor you will see the XRF window has magically appeared ... now you can unlink materials, link materials, swap material slot positions, make some items anyskin, and add your own named XRFs ... just follow the steps in the image below.
