PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The windflyer's three main sails (and edges) are animated as is the edge of the board. This gives the cool illusion of the board moving, however, the board does not really move or fly off your screen with your avi attached. ;) This windflyer can be used by male or female avis because it is a TRUE furniture item.

Update! This item now includes both a sitting and a standing spot and is higher off the ground! The derivable version also now includes complete opacity maps for every material. Ooo!

Mostly what I do here on IMVU is create official items for use by Mardi Gras 3000 gamers and comic book writers (a welcoming, all-inclusive universe with a trading card game, novels, an rpg, etc). I know that other folks on IMVU like vehicles that can be riden and have embedded poses, but what I've been asked for is a windflyer that can just BE in a room. It doesn't automatically appear under you or force you to sit on it or stand on it. You don't have to "ride" it to have it on display in your room.

So...

This item is furniture. It is NOT an accessory vehicle. HOWEVER, it does now have a standing and a sitting spot. It is what you see plus the animated surfaces. Don't buy this item unless you want to display it in your room... or in your yard or other outside perfect-for-flying location. I will not offer refunds for any reason.

Want to add a different, more dynamic pose? Need to know how to add a pose? It's actually very, very easy. First choose a pose. Find your own in the catalog or buy one of these below. I don't know any of these developers personally or professionally. I found these items by searching the catalog.

Buy a pose. Buy the windflyer. Put the windflyer your room. Put the pose in your room. To place the pose there is usually a small shadow (or you can just search for the handle once you add it to your room). Move the pose on top of the windflyer's board. You can hold down the Shift or Ctrl keys while you're moving the spot to get the positioning perfect. You can also rotate the spot using the standard tools. That's it. Your board now has a spot that's unique to you.

Originally invented pre-Unification by the Celestials on the island province of Ornbergh, windflyers come in all colors. Sail shapes can also vary (PM me with your requests). They are low-to-the-ground flyers, any where between one and four meters. They can achieve up to 70 miles an hour and this style can safely hold two people. Boards are a mix of solar and kinetic energy and cannot fly without at least one rider to complete their organic circuit. Celestials of Ornbergh traded windflyers to the Celestials of Quetqu in exchange for the first habitat domes (grounded, 30 meters across).
