Updates: The windflyer now features a sitting node and a standing node. It is also higher off the ground. Also, per requests, all materials now have independant opacity maps so you can truly layer effects--whether you work in PaintBox or PhotoShop ;)

This item is as shown below. It is for developers to derive. The sail surfaces and edges and the board edges are animated. Of course, in the Previewer, you're just a few clicks away from turning those off... or turning other animations on.

As this is my first mesh and all credits earned are folded back into supporting the Mardi Gras 3000 open gaming universe (which is free), I would appreciate it if your products are NOT derivable. Thanks for understanding.

I use tiling (repeating) images and the mesh is set up for this. Please see the textured windflyer in my product list. Material map offers a lot of options for customizing. Materials are: Board edges; Underbelly of the board (visible if end-user tilts board upward); foot traction bars; board surface; largest sail surface; edges of all three sails and rudder edges; topmost sail; bottommost sail (not counting the rudder), and rudder.

Mostly what I do here on IMVU is create official items for use by Mardi Gras 3000 gamers and comic book writers (a welcoming, all-inclusive universe with a trading card game, novels, etc). I know that other folks on IMVU like vehicles that can be riden, but what I've been asked for is a windflyer that can just BE in a room. It doesn't automatically appear under you or force you to sit on it or stand on it. You don't have to "ride" it to have it on display in your room. It is a true furniture item. Not an accessory vehicle. HOWEVER It DOES now have a standing and a sitting pose. End-buyers can also add their own pose... there are dozens to choose from that work with this board.

Here's some gaming history on the windflyers:

Originally invented pre-Unification by the Celestials on the island province of Ornbergh, windflyers come in all colors. Sail shapes can also vary (PM me with your requests). They are low-to-the-ground flyers, any where between one and four meters. They can achieve up to 70 miles an hour and this style can safely hold two people. Boards are a mix of solar and kinetic energy and cannot fly without at least one rider to complete their organic circuit. Celestials of Ornbergh traded windflyers to the Celestials of Quetqu in exchange for the first habitat domes (grounded, 30 meters across).
