Don't Buy this Cape! DERIVE FROM IT!

This is an update of my Derive-A-Cape. This version allows you to have two colors for the cape, one for the back and one for the inside. If you don't need a 2-Sided cape, save yourself 100 credits and buy the older Version 1 Derive-A-Cape .

Important! Buy the Right Version for Your Gender!

Due to the differences in the Male and Female bodies, you must buy the version of the Cape that fits your avie's gender. This cape is very close fitting, so it won't look right if it's not the version for your . Make sure to buy the right cape for your gender! And if you have a custom avie body, make sure to use "Try It" before you Buy It! There will be no refunds if you buy the wrong one.

To get you started on deriving your very own version of the Derive-A-Cape, here's some templates that you can look over and edit in your favorite photo editor. You will also need to install Previewer and get a Developer's Account. Details can be found in IMVU Developer's Section.

This is the Color Map for the Derive-A-Cape. This is the image I used to create both the front and back images. The only difference between the Back and the Inside is that I copied the Back image and shifted the hue to yellow for the Inside. The Inside Map is also backwards:

This is the Opacity Map for the Cape. Anything White is solid, and anything Black is invisible. You could also use shades of gray if you want a see through, glass effect:

This is a colorless Gray Template. By colorizing and editting this, it will allow you to quickly make any simple changes to the cape's design you need:
