And yes you can set your derivations as "Derivable", since it's in the IMVU Developer agreement that ALL IMVU Developers sign when becoming Devs.


Don't be fooled with what other Devs say on their products about IMVU's TOS that say absolutely nothing about Derivable products, that is just false and/or misleading information!!!

Did you know that under the new Tier Levels System points are awarded to CCs that have set their products as "Derivable"? The proof just reads:

"What criteria will be evaluated?
Core criteria will be: Sales in Units; Sales in Credits; and Sales in Predits.
Unique criteria will be: # of forum posts in the CC forums; Feedback review (avg of all products in your catalog); # of derivable products (of all time, this is the one exception to the 90 day limit); % of new products introduced from prior period to current."

So this only means 2 things:

1. IMVU promotes setting products as Derivable
2. Those CCs that don't want others to set their products as Derivable are misleading you so they can earn more points to reach higher Tier levels than you

So reach your own conclusions about this issue. I've just provided enough proof to support my point of view, what about those other Devs???
