This is a furniture dot you can put anywhere. You will see a dark spot on the floor when you add it, not the icon picture here. When activated, an ambient widget will appear on your screen and the fetal heart beat will start automatically. It will play until you click the stop icon. It takes a few seconds to stop. No more having to restart your fetal heart beat over and over. You can play the 4 sfx sounds either while the heartbeat is playing or on their own. These are 3 breathing techniques for labor and one baby crying at delivery. The breathing is slow deep, soft panting and pant blow breathing. Although the ambient sound, the heartbeat, will play continuously, the 4 sfx sounds only play 20 sec each and need to be reactivated as you go along. You can have two instances of this widget play in the same room, so if another person accidentally jumps on the dot and starts the heartbeat, be sure both are turned off to stop the sound. Otherwise it will keep going. At Genesis we have the nurse/doc control the heartbeat and baby cry on one widget and the patient controls the breathing on her widget. Teach your patient how to use it at a prenatal visit so it goes smoothly during labor. She can practice with it in shop mode without buying it. Only the room owner need buy it.
