Dungeon of Doom Kit! by Whystler
(You can walk in here!!)

These items were originally published as part of the "Dungeon of Doom" bundle offered as an IMVU credit promotion on September 27th 2007. At the moment, IMVU's technology for producing bundles of rooms pre-furnished with furniture items is not available for content creators. So, you will fend for yourself and use your creativity to create your own dungeons with this bundle of pieces! Woohoo! What Fun!

Because of it's unusual style, here is some information about building your own dungeon using this pieces in this kit:

DUNGEON OF DOOM: Tips and Tricks

-The Dungeon Base Room has a front stairway, a grid of furniture nodes to hold the other pieces in the set, and a Plane of Death (with the convenient Ressurection point) that you will be trasported to if killed by one of the furniture pieces.

-Building in the dungeon can seem daunting at first because of the darkness here. The truth of the matter is that the darkness is created using a black fog. So wherever you walk to, becomes light, as if you're carrying a torch. But there is another perk of building that makes it easier. Do you ever notice how a furniture item lights up when you select it in the client? What you might not realize is that when this happens, not only does your piece light up, but every furniture piece in the room becomes immune to fog. Weird BUT true! So, even though you stand at the beginning of your dungeon, you can pan out and see your whole dungeon lit up if you simply go to furniture edit mode and mouse over a furniture piece.

-The main dungeon hallways (straight, corner, tee, cross, and dead end) are all placed as furniture items, and rotated into the proper angle of your desire.

-Dungeon cells are furniture items, but they function to create smaller rooms in your scene. Place, and rotate them so that the door of the cell overlaps with the hallway.

-Chests are interesting things. One of the chests reveals gold. While the other sends people to the Plane of Death! It's impossible from the surface to tell which is which. Place them anywhere you lke, but for best effect, use the rooms to encourage people to visit them.

-Bags of Gold always contain gold. Pepper your dungeon with these and you'll keep adventurers coming back for more.

-All of the other items in this bundle allow you to add interest and humour to your dungeon. Check the catalogue for more because many of these are derivable.
