A dutch tradition around newyears eve-the carbid shooting. An metal milk can gets filled with water and carbid and the opening gets plugged with a ball. The water and the carbid react together and produce an expanding explosive gas. Than you sit on the milk can and ignite the gas trough a little hol in the bottom of the can and....KABOOOOOOOM........:)
