The Folding Fan
(For Men and Women)

Are you feeling hot? Or maybe you *ARE* Hot! Either way, you'll keep your cool with the Folding Fan. This eternal accessory, of Geisha and Southern Bell's alike, will make you look Cool, Hot, and SUPER-Classy! It's good for being coy, seductive, and aloft, simply depending on your mood and outfit. Sure, you might have the manners and mouth of a Trucker, but they'll never know it as long as you have the Folding Fan!

Command:
"Fan" - Uses the Fan

PLEASE NOTE: The Folding Fan rests in the avie's Right Hand until used. The Folding Fan works equally well for Male or Female avies, but is found under Female Gloves because it's a Hand-related item and IMVU lacks a Uni- category. The Folding Fan is designed for the Default Avie hand. It might be obscured or incorrectly fit other custom hands and hand replacements. Also certain Gloves might obscure the Folding Fan's visible. This accessory conflicts with any item that uses Channel 86 in the avie's body. Extremely few items replace that body channel, but if one of your items does it will either remove this item, or the other item. To ensure this product works correctly with both your chosen Outfit, please use TRY IT before you BUY IT! There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't fit correctly.

Prefer a Red fan to Black? Or how about some SOUND EFFECTS? Well then, quite complaining and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center.

This is the Texture map used for the Folding Fan. Use this to make small changes, such as a Color or Pattern:

The Folding Fan has a Opacity layer, should you want to carve holes in it to allow for more complex designs. There are no templates available for this though, as the version I made is completely solid. All you need to know is that your Opacity layer needs to be a Black and White Silhouette of your texture map, with the Black parts being invisible and the White parts being solid. Use the Wireframe image below to plan out your cutting, so don't go over the edges and your Opacity layer fits correctly.

This is the Wireframe template for the Folding Fan. This shows you exactly how the texture map adheres to the model. You'll need this if you wish to design a new Texture map from scratch, or make a Opacity map:
