Be sure that you are using Multi Player v6.0 or newer.

You can access YouTube features at VIDEO panel.
Built-in search allows to seach YouTube videos inside the player (hide text chat if you want to use real keyboard).
Favorite videos added in the past are again available in FAVORITE (use "+" button to add new ones).
Last played videos are available in HISTORY.
YouTube video links (each in a new line) can also be pasted (hide text chat and use CTRL+V shortcut) in the player at MP3 panel or single link at general status rectangle above main menu.
Videos added by creators in the past with playlist.txt file are available in PRESET (if playlist.txt file exists and is not empty, then it will overwrite dailymotion.txt).

(1) X - Closes player and stops playing. (1) > - Minimizes player and keeps playing. (1) # - Changes player display mode between vertical and horizontal. (2) PLAY - Unmutes sound and reconnects stream. (2) PAUSE - Mutes sound. (2) VOLUME - Changes sound volume. (3) INFO/INPUT BOX - Displays various information and accepts commands (like -p XXXX which is 4 character password protection from unwanted users who can break your plays - see hidden codes list) or links (youtube video, youtube playlist, direct radio mp3 stream, direct mp3 file from dropbox, google drive, or other file server). Hide IMVU text chat to be able to use real keyboard. To paste a link, click, hold CTRL key and then press V key.

(4) SCREEN - Turns on/off video screen (while other menu panels like VIDEO/RADIO/MP3/PLAYLIST are active, they will cover video screen, even if it is turned on). (4) VIDEO - Turns on/off panel to manage youtube videos which contains youtube video search function and youtube memory (videos added to favorites, last played, and the ones added by creator). In search box you can use real keyboard if you hide IMVU text chat. Type artist, song name or other words related to youtube videos, and click OK. Use < (left bracket) button to remove single character or click on search box to remove all. Use + (plus) buttons to create larger playlist. (4) RADIO - Turns on/off panel to manage radio stations which contains radio category filter, sorting mode (123 by added order, ABC by alphabet) and memory (radio stations added to favorites, last played, and the ones added by creator). (4) MP3 - Turns on/off panel to manage mp3 files or other supported formats (youtube video, youtube playlist, direct radio mp3 stream). DJs can import own list of unlimited links and play them. To paste a list, copy it from notepad (each link in a new line), hide IMVU text chat to be able to use real keyboard, click input box, hold CTRL key and then press V key. Use + (plus) buttons to create larger playlist. (4) PLAYLIST - Turns on/off panel to manage playlist which contains current list with titles and user names who added them, and function to LOAD/SAVE playlists. - (minus) buttons can be used to remove each position from playlist. (4) TV - Switches between standard, extended and cinema mode (full screen that auto fits with IMVU text chat - use X button in top right corner to close). (4) SC - Switches between original size of the player and scaled (120% or 140% on higher resolutions or hidden text chat - for more options use command -scale X, where X is value from 0 to 9). Modern computer is required, because this function may slow down the player and IMVU. (4) SYNC - Turns on/off synchronization with other users. When this mode is turned on, then playlist is shared with other users (everyone in the room who activated the player, can hear what is played) and can be also modified by them (so you can share your music and videos together, but to protect from unwanted users, you can use command -p XXXX which is 4 character password protection). (4) MORE - Opens official page with detailed information about the player and latest version. (4) + - Adds currently playing youtube video or radio station to FAVORITE memory. (5) LEFT SIDE PANEL - Contains youtube search function with few modes (YT MUSIC for music on youtube, YOUTUBE for general videos on youtube) at VIDEO panel, radio category filter, sorting mode and radio song title detection at RADIO panel, import function for DJs at MP3 panel, and playlist titles or list of saved playlists at PLAYLIST panel. (6) TOP BAR - Moves player to desired position on the screen if you hold mouse button on it. (7) + - Adds currently playing youtube video or radio station to FAVORITE memory. (7) FAVORITE - Contains a list of youtube videos or radio stations added with adjacent + (plus) button on left. To remove some positions from the list, click FAVORITE button for second time. + (plus) buttons will turn into - (minus) buttons and allow to remove each position. To back to normal mode, click FAVORITE button again. (7) HISTORY - Contains a list of last played youtube videos or radio stations (does not include plays of other users). (7) PRESET - Contains a list of youtube videos, youtube playlists, mp3 songs, or radio stations added by creator. (8) MEMORY LIST - Displays list of selected memory. Use + (plus) buttons to create larger playlist. Use buttons on bottom to navigate the list. (9) LIST NAVIGATION - Changes pages of the list. Button > moves to next page, >> skips few next pages, >><< backs to the beginning, < moves to previous page, and << few pages back. You can see last page or navigate from the end by using backward buttons.

Note that I was not able to record sound from IMVU with my recording software, so there is no sound in the video.
Note also that player is just software like media players for phone or Windows (for example Winamp) and user is responsible for music he or she is playing with it.
You can play your own music creations or a lot of free underground music that uses Creative Commons or Public Domain licences and are often shared by their original artists on soundcloud and other services, but playing commercial music without proper DJ license or other rights is illegal.

Dropbox - how to get direct mp3 link:
1 - Create free account on https://www.dropbox.com/ to get 2GB space.
2 - Upload your mp3 music with dropbox website or their app.
3 - On dropbox website, click "share" button near song file name.
4 - On appeared window, click "create a link" and click "copy link" to get direct link to song file (example of correct direct link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/brqu08ysa45otwl/test.mp3?dl=0).

Google Drive - how to get direct mp3 link:
1 - Create free account on https://www.google.com/drive/ to get 15GB space.
2 - Upload your mp3 music with google drive website or their app.
3 - On google drive website, click right mouse button on song file name, and choose "share" from menu.
4 - On appeared window, click "get shareable link" (top right corner) and click "copy link" to get direct link to song file (example of correct direct link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Zw0ftk-L-edndrOFpGZzVwUk0/view?usp=sharing).

Player - how to play direct mp3 link:
5 - Back to IMVU and hide text chat (click cloud icon on bottom of IMVU), otherwise it will block your keyboard interaction with player.
6 - Click on rectangle frame near player main menu (it has starting text "hide chat & paste (ctrl+v) radio/mp3/dailymotion here"), hold CTRL key and press V key to paste your link (standard paste shortcut).
7 - Alternatively, you can paste list of unlimited links (each in new line) in MP3 panel (rectangle frame with default text "DJ, paste (ctrl+v) your import list") and play from there (use "+" buttons to put each song on playlist).
8 - Your music stream will be synchronized with all users who have "SYNC" active (it is turned ON by default), and if it stopped playing, then probably you reached bandwidth limit on their free server (they reset it within 24 hours).
9 - Alternatively, you can paste mp3 links from other servers that offer direct links (example: http://www.dropbox.com/, http://drive.google.com/, http://kiwi6.com/, http://1fichier.com/) or paste direct link to radio station mp3 stream.

Play any music link.
Copy youtube (single video or playlist), radio or mp3 link, hide IMVU text chat first, click on general status rectangle above main menu and use CTRL+V keys to paste.

Synchronize with others or stay private.
Use SYNC button to synchronize with others or turn it off to stay in private mode.

Watch movies.
Use SCREEN button to watch videos (other menu panels must be turned off, otherwise they will cover video screen). Use TV button to watch on larger screen or in Cinema Mode real time auto fit full screen. In this mode you can use synchronized play, pause and seek for videos longer than 5 minutes (protection from unwanted users when listening to short music videos).

Adjust your space.
Hold left mouse button on top of player, start dragging and drop on any place (its suggested to move it to top right corner). Turn off SCREEN, VIDEO, RADIO, MP3 and PLAYLIST buttons to get more space on your screen. Click on hash button (#) in top left corner to switch between display modes. Default vertical mode is recommended.

Search music.
To find music, click VIDEO button, type song or artist name on left side and click OK button.

Play own music.
If you are musican or have DJ license to play some tracks, you can use your music files from your hard disk. To do it, just register on dropbox (they give 2 GB space and 20 GB transfer limit per day for FREE), install their application and copy files easily to dropbox folder. After your files are ready, use direct links in player (example: login to your dropbox, click right mouse button on mp3 file, choose Share Link, new website will open, click right mouse button on Download and choose Copy Link Address). Any other server hosts with direct links will work too. You can also start own radio station, paste link and set admin access (-p XXXX) to prevent unwanted breaks.

Import own list.
You dont have to paste link everytime you want to play something. You can prepare own list of music and import into player to play it easier by clicking. To do it, open notepad, prepare your list, save it (CTRL+S), select all (CTRL+A), copy (CTRL+C), hide text chat, click MP3 button, click on import area and paste (CTRL+V). From now you can explore your list inside player and play by click. Your list can contain youtube video, youtube playlist, MP3 file (dropbox, google drive or other server with direct access to files) and radio stream (direct MP3 streams only, not AAC+, PLS or M3U) links. Number of links is unlimited.

Create shared playlist together.
Use plus (+) buttons near song names to add each one to playlist (as last). Click PLAYLIST to see them all and user names who added their own. Use minus (-) button to remove each song from playlist.

Save favorite music to memory.
You dont have to search or paste your favorite music every time when you back to player. Use plus (+) button near FAVORITE button to add currently playing music to favorite memory. To remove each one, click on active FAVORITE button to switch into remove mode, and use minus (-) buttons. Click on FAVORITE button again to back into playing mode. Switch between three types of memory by clicking on their buttons, FAVORITE (added by you), HISTORY (last played by you) and PRESET (added by creators). Use navigation buttons on bottom to explore all the list.

Turn off.
To close player and stop getting any streams, click X button on top. Click it again to get everything back and ready to work.

Hidden codes.
Hidden codes can be typed in area where you paste links (general status rectangle above main menu, hide text chat first):
-p XXXX (grants admin ability to first user who will type set of 4 character password, changes password by admin, grants moderator ability to others if they type correct password)
-p 0000 (turns off password by admin)
-yt (sets YouTube video size, default is -yt 400 300)
-pacman (transforms into pacman avatar)
-chest (transforms into chest avatar)
-male (transforms into male avatar)
-female (transforms into female avatar)
-memory (shows total memory used by all loaded flash products, videos, music and any streams, not only player)
-flash (shows information about installed flash)
-clear (clears favorite memory)
-alpha X (changes background darkness, X is value from 0 to 9)
-cinema (Cinema Mode with real time auto fit full screen)
-scale X (scales player size, X is value from 0 to 9, 0 is original size, 9 is double size, modern computer required)

CREATORS - Adding own Radio or MP3 list (PRESET).
Create radio.txt file in notepad. Put each direct radio stream (MP3 streams only, not AAC+, PLS or M3U) or MP3 file (dropbox, google drive or other server with direct access to files) link per line (optionally, you can put names after each link). Copy file into assets (its a small folder icon on top, near "Type: Room Attachment", not in assets tab, click that icon) in Create Mode. Your radio list will appear in RADIO panel at PRESET memory. You can also catalog radio stations if needed (max 12 category names).

If user decide to play own things, then playlist will be cleared.

Buttons dont work.
Be sure that you have IMVU tool bar or IMVU navigation bar turned off (minimized) if they are under (above) player.

Player is too big.

Turn off SCREEN, VIDEO, RADIO, MP3 and PLAYLIST buttons to get more space on your screen. Click on hash button (#) in top left corner to switch between display modes. Default vertical mode is recommended.

Pause does not work.
To keep best synchronization between users, pause works like mute. If you dont want your player to get stream, use X button to close it (click again to turn it back). Sync pause and seek are available only for videos longer than 5 minutes in full screen Cinema Mode (TV in main menu). It was intended to not let other users to break listening to the music, but still allow to control long movies.

Radio station is playing too slow or skipping.
Try to click on play button. Current radio stream will be reconnected. 

Cant remove text from search.
Use left angle bracket button (<) to remove each character or click on text area to remove them all.

Cant add to FAVORITE.
Click on plus button (+) near FAVORITE to add currently playing radio stream to favorite memory. If not work, wait a few seconds while it is playing and try again. If still not work for currently playing radio stream, then your memory is probably full.

Cant make playlist.
Click on plus button (+) near song name to add it to playlist (as last). Click on song name if you want to play it right now.

Spectrum Analyser does not work.
For some security reason, domain server with your stream does not allow enough access to its data. Read more about crossdomain.xml file.

Some users are breaking my plays.
Use hidden command -p with 4 characters (example: -p XXXX) as a password in area where you paste links. All current player users will be moderators (can play) and all new ones can hear only (they must type -p your_password to be moderators).

Some radio stations or mp3 files do not play.
You can play direct audio streams only. If your radio station uses PLS or M3U playlist files, you have to open them with notepad, find stream link and paste into player. If you are trying to play mp3 files from dropbox, google drive, or other file server, be sure they are direct public links. If mp3 playing was working and now stopped, then you probably reached bandwidth limit on currently used free file server. Free file servers do reset limits within 24 hours.

I got message like NOT FOUND: try different.
Radio search is for music genre (example: rock). Try to type other music genre.

History or other memory does not work.
On some system configurations it may not be saved correctly. You can still use import at MP3 panel.

Favorite memory cant be removed.
If click on FAVORITE button two times and then using minus buttons (-) to remove not work after you back, log out from IMVU and start to search for ytsp.sol and msp.sol files on your hard disk. Note that searching must include system folders, hidden files and folders, and subfolders. Delete all ytsp.sol and msp.sol files you found, log back to imvu and start remove from your favorite list again. This time it should work correctly.
Special characters in song or video names can bring problems with memory.

Player does not show up on my Apple Macintosh computer or IMVU Next.
IMVU does not support Flash Technology on these computers and on IMVU Next.

Player does not work correctly on PC computer.
Try to clean your IMVU cache.
Try to uninstall (menu start > programs > imvu > uninstall) and install IMVU again.
