The 1773 masterpiece "Process of the Trojan Horse in Troy" by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, in a black-brown museum-type frame, shows the temporary joy of the Trojans, tricked by the Greeks into accepting a wooden horse which is filled with hidden soldiers who later emerged to attack and conquer the city. The story is from the Greek legend of Helen of Troy and the 10-year battle that erupted when she left her husband for her Trojan lover Paris.
