The Fuzzy Tail -Medium
(for Men and Women)

Need a Fuzzy tail to match your Fuzzy Personality? Well then look no further then the Fuzzy Tail. Designed for the softer side of Furries in mind, this tail is long and hairy. It's subtle stripped pattern and movements are similar to a cat, but it could also work for Monkeys and any other long-tailed animals. It's movements are geared towards female avies, with slow, seductive movements that should set any hairy heart ablaze. (If you need something larger, there is a Big version, available separately)

Commands are:
"HappyTail" puts the tail up in a curl, like a Squirrel. It loops and will play until you switch Nodes.
"CattyTail" whips the tail around like a cat, ready to pounce. It loops and will play until you switch Nodes.
"SexyTail" brings the tail up the avie's body in a slow and sultry way.
Switch Sit or Stand Nodes to reset the tail to it's "Wrapped" default animation.

PLEASE NOTE: This item will work equally well with Male and Female avies, but is found under Female Accessories because IMVU lacks a Uni- category. It's also an accessory that attaches to your avie's "PelvisNode" bone. There's a limit to the number of things you can attach to any one point in the avie's body, so make sure you have the attachment points left to use it. There will be no refunds if you buy this and it doesn't fit your avie, or work with your outfit. As with anything on IMVU, it's best to use Try-It before you Buy-It to make sure!

Want a new fur color? Maybe some purring sound effects? Then DERIVE IT! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started:

This is the texture map for the tail. As you can see, it's lightened and the strips change from top to bottom. This map is sectioned into 8 parts, which correspond from the top to the bottom sides of the tail. Use a subtle gradient and patterns so each furry section merges into the next, for the smoothest and most natural look. The center core of the tail is mapped to the top section:

This is the Opacity layer for the Tail. As you might guess the White is solid and Black is invisible. You shouldn't change this unless you want to drastically alter the shape of the tail. Beware that the core uses the same section of the image as the top most fur sheet:

This is the Wireframe layout for the Tail. The core of the tail isn't visible on this Wireframe, but its merged with the top most fur section. Use this image to create exact texture maps for the tail, as well as new Opacity layers to alter it's shape. This is best left to the more Advanced Users:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
