THis mesh will ALSO allow you to change the entire style of the hair just by editing the opacity map! You can create BRAND NEW hairstyles WITHOUT meshing! This item is easy to derive from. You can use a straight hair texture, or anything you like; the texture is NOT mirrored so you could make one side a completely different color, length, etc than the other.

Tip: Try switching "blending" off and on for different effects. Blending on will give you a softer look, while blending off will give you a more defined look.
