• Add sounds and submit your voice box
• Convert collected sound files to .ogg
• Record your own voice

• Adjust the sound levels.

About voice boxes:
A voice box is basically a product with a collection of chat sounds.
Each sound can only last for 20 seconds and the total size of the product cannot be more than 2 MB.
The sounds are in ogg format. Collected sounds in mp3 or wave format will not work and must be converted to ogg if you wish to add them to a voice box on IMVU.
Get started:
To be able to create products for IMVU you must join the IMVU creator program. If you are not already a creator you can find information about how to become one in the creator center.
You will also need real credits. Credits are available to buy in the IMVU shop.
The application that we will be using in this tutorial to edit, convert and record sounds is called Audacity. It is a free open source program and you can find it here.
Derive:
To start create mode in client you can press these shortcut buttons. The male and female versions are identical and both works for all avatars. They are just located in different parts of your inventory. So it doesnt matter if you derive from male or female.
